The 21-year-old Brazilian will work for the Red Bull Racing and Alpha Tauri teams in the F1
On Monday morning (9) an important change behind the scenes of the F1 drew the attention of the fans, especially the Brazilian ones. Sergio Sette Câmara was announced by Red Bull as its new reserve, test and development driver. He returns to being under the umbrella of the Austrian energy giant, after being part of the Red Bull’s junior program in 2016.
In Formula 1, the main category of world motorsport, Sette Câmara will develop his work in the two teams of the brand, Aston Martin Red Bull Racing and Scuderia Alpha Tauri. His work will be carried out in partnership with the team’s senior reserve driver, the Swiss Sebastien Buemi.
Sérgio will accompany Red Bull in the F1 Paddock during practically the whole season. He will travel to the races with the two teams in addition to working together with Buemi in the simulator. Sérgio will also be driving the F1 cars from previous seasons to support the growing Running Show Car program that Red Bull is developing in various parts of the world.

Sette secured the necessary points to obtain the F1 Super License after completing the 2019 F2 World Championship in fourth place. The Brazilian is already starting his work with Red Bull this weekend, at the Australian Grand Prix – 2020 season opening .
