At the iconic French circuit, the Brazilian driver is back behind the wheel of the Nielsen Racing Ligier #27
Brazilian driver Sérgio Sette Câmara, sponsored by Cactus Gaming, returns to the track this weekend (May 2–4) for the second round of the 2025 European Le Mans Series (ELMS). Racing for Nielsen Racing, Sette Câmara shares driving duties in the Ligier #27 prototype with British driver Anthony Wells and Australian James Allen.
The event will take place at the historic Circuit Paul Ricard, located in Le Castellet in the south of France. Measuring 5.842 kilometers in length, the circuit is known for its technical layout, combining high-speed corners with sections that demand precision. One of Paul Ricard’s defining features is its expansive asphalt run-off areas, which enhance safety without compromising performance.
“Paul Ricard is a really cool track where I’ve had the chance to drive several cars, including F3, F2, and now the powerful Ligier in ELMS,” said Sette Câmara. “Since the race in Barcelona, our team has worked hard on improving the car’s setup, and naturally, my teammates and I have dedicated a lot of time to simulator preparation. We will focus on building a solid strategy during free practice and will go into the race aiming for a podium finish.”
The Ligier prototype used by Nielsen Racing is a French-built model equipped with a 4.2-liter V8 engine from Gibson Technology, capable of delivering 600 horsepower. Tires are supplied by Goodyear, the official partner of the series.
The French round will feature two free practice sessions on Friday, followed by another practice session and qualifying on Saturday. The 4 Hours of Le Castellet race will start on Sunday at 7:00 AM (Brasília time). Fans can watch both qualifying and the race live and free of charge on the official ELMS YouTube channel: youtube.com/c/EuropeanLeMansSeriesOfficial
Sette Câmara remains focused on securing strong results in the European endurance championship, combining his international experience with Brazilian talent on some of the world’s most demanding circuits.
