The Brazilian driver is confident of another good result in the competition
On the most charming and traditional streets of motorsport, the Formula E World Championship reaches its eighth round of the calendar with the Monaco e-Prix. On the same track historically used by F1, the drivers and machines of the series will race through the streets of Monte Carlo at over 300 km/h.
Coming from a season of growth with the ERT Formula E team, Brazilian Sérgio Sette Câmara is excited for the race that will conclude the first half of the Championship. After a celebrated sixth place in the Misano race (ITA), held two weeks ago, the Belo Horizonte-born driver believes that the Monaco track has even more favorable characteristics for his team’s car.
The Monaco track, well known to all drivers and speed enthusiasts, is exactly the same as used in F1 races. With a total length of 3,337 meters, the track features 19 turns and fits like a glove for the Formula E format of races. In 2023, when the team was still called NIO333 Racing, Sette Câmara performed well in the qualifying session and managed to advance to the semi-final phase of the duels.
“I am happy to be back in Monaco at a growing moment in the season. We are excited about the improvements we have achieved in the last stages, and our focus will also be on the reliability of our package for the race, as we have made significant progress in the qualifying,” analyzed the 25-year-old driver.
The Monaco e-Prix schedule will be entirely developed this Saturday, April 27. Free practice and qualifying sessions will be broadcasted by Band Sports and on YouTube through the Grande Prêmio channel. The race will be broadcasted on Band (open TV) and also on the Grande Prêmio YouTube channel.
