Brazilian ERT team driver will face the challenge of helping his team surpass competitors Mahindra and ABT Cupra in the Teams’ Championship.

The iconic city of London, the capital of the United Kingdom, will host the final round of the Formula E season this weekend (20th and 21st). The competition, which will mark the end of the 10th season of the World Championship, will take place on the circuit built around the ExCeL London, a convention and exhibition center located in the city’s docks.

Experienced Formula E driver Sérgio Sette Câmara, representing the Anglo-Chinese team ERT Formula E, arrived in London excited. Concluding his fifth season driving the fastest electric cars on the planet, the young driver from Belo Horizonte is ready for the significant challenges ahead.

“The ExCeL Arena track is very special. I have enjoyed competing here since the first time. The track has both indoor and outdoor sections, offering a different challenge for us. Besides that, the circuit is quite tight, providing a more competitive condition for our team’s car. Specifically, in this round, my teammate and I will be competing for the team. Our goal is to score as many points as possible in both races so that we can finish the Teams’ Championship ahead of competitors ABT Cupra and Mahindra,” explained the 26-year-old competitor.

The ExCeL Arena track is only 2,080 meters long, with an incredible 20 corners. The competition takes place in a clockwise direction and is one of the shortest tracks in the current Formula E calendar. Another distinctive feature of the British track is the elevation changes and different types of pavement. The course has characteristics of medium-low speed. Saturday’s race is scheduled for 37 laps and Sunday’s for 34.

The official schedule for the stage began this Friday with the first free practice session. Tomorrow and Sunday, the schedule is identical, starting with a free practice session followed by qualifying and, finally, the e-Prix. Both races will be broadcast live in Brazil on Band and YouTube through the Grande Prêmio channel.
