After Osborn reveals that he knows Peter is Spider-Man, he informs him that he will keep his secret safe. This still haunts Peter, even when he returns home. Nico offers to take Peter to a movie, but he tells her that he is having dinner with Osborn. In an empty restaurant, Peter tries to tell Osborn that he is not Spider-Man, but he sees through his lie. He reveals that after rescuing his son Harry, he began gathering possible candidates for who Spider-Man was, eventually narrowing it down to Amadeus, Jeanne, Asha, and Peter himself. He offers his services to help him, but Peter politely declines. Osborn leaves the door open for the case and a check.
