The Brazilian pilot, Sérgio Sette Câmara returns to the track where he made his debut in the competition

For the penultimate time,  the 2016 F3 European Championship season will convene its pilots and teams for an official competition. In the legendary Enzo and  Dino Ferrari race track in San Marino,  Imola, stages 25, 26 and 27 of the continental Championship will be held this weekend.

After a good performance in the last round of the Championship, when he managed to achieve his first pole position, the Brazilian pilot Sérgio Sette Câmara (Red Bull | Petrobras | Cemig | Mercantil do Brasil), Member of the Red Bull Junior Team, arrives at Imola with the spirit renewed to pursue his first victory.

The story of Sette Câmara with the San Marino circuit began still in 2014 when he competed his first race of the European F3. On that occasion, he had the opportunity to meet the structure and functioning of the competition and share the track with the main experts of the sport in the world. Other than that, this racetrack undeniably generates a great commotion on all lovers of motorsport since, exactly in that spot, died in 1994 the three-time world champion F1 pilot, Ayrton Senna.

The Imola auto track is one of the  traditional European tracks which still bring in its DNA which aspects that more delight lovers of motorsport as high speeds and several overtaking spots. The track is 4,909-meter long and its design has characteristics that require, almost at the same rate, a good setting of the chassis with an engine very well prepared. Michael Schumacher, who won seven F1 Grand Prix at this circuit, in an interview given in the year 2006, stated that achieving a pole position at Imola meant having found the maximum balance level  between the pilot, the  car and the engine.

Sette Câmara is very excited for the round. “Since the last round we have a new cockpit and the engine, changed yet in Spa. I am very confident and my main objective will undoubtedly be to make two excellent  positions to pursue, race by race, the best possible results. We will have a differentiated programming, with a taking of times on Friday and another on Saturday. This will allow me and the team to analyze the data and, if necessary, make new settings with easy, “explained the 18-yeard old young man.

The three races of the weekend will be broadcasted live by the official website of the competition, as well as the live-timing system available at www.fiaf3europe.com
