After a good performances in Austria, the Brazilian pilot Sérgio Sette Câmara pursuits  his rising in the standings

This weekend, between June 24 and 26, the European F3 Championship arrives in the city of Nuremberg, Germany, where the fifth round races of the continental competition will be held. The races valid for the 13th, 14th and 15th stages of the Championship, will be held in the traditional street track mounted around the rostrum where Adolf Hitler made his speeches in the Nazi period.

With a chance to compete for the second time in this circuit, the Brazilian pilot Sérgio Sette Câmara (Red Bull | Petrobrás | Cemig | Mercantil do Brasil), member of the Red Bull Junior Team, sees a big opportunity to recover points in the standings. With his best position in second place in one of the races in Pau, in the third round of the Championship, Sette Câmara today occupies the eighth position in the Championship with 74 points.

Although he seems far from the fight for the first positions, Serginho highlights an important factor to be evaluated. “A every weekend of the competition 75 points are at stake. Each victory is worth 25 points. My difference to fifth place, for example, is only 12 points. So, I’m relaxed and I’m sure that, carrying out my work of a quiet and focused way, we will certainly achieve  our goal to this race”.

The Norisring Circuit is a track completely atypical from the rest of the season. Its design with only 2,300 meters long provides the competitors laps completed with less than one  minute – the record belongs to the Dutchman Max Verstappen, with 48s168 (2014). In this way, the attention and the reflections must be at maximum level all the time, and the success on this track, is closely linked to the concentration.

The three races of the weekend will be broadcasted live by the official website of the competition, as well as the live-timing system available at www.fiaf3europe.com
