Best Brazilian pilot in the competition, Sérgio Sette Camara from Minas Gerais  wants to score

After three weeks away from the European F3 Championship tracks, he resumes this weekend his annual calendar of competitions. In Eastern Europe, more specifically in the Red Bull Ring, in Austria, the main World F3 championship will held its s eighth double round of the season.

Competing for the award-winning Motopark Academy team, from  Germany, the Brazilian pilot Sergio Sette Câmara (Banco Mercantil do Brasil / Lalubema), from Belo Horizonte, is already in the country where he will have the opportunity to compete once again in one of the F1 World Championship tracks.

Experiencing a period of great growth in the Championship, Sette Câmara won his first podium at Spa-Francorchamps, then came back to score in Zandvoort and in recent days he has been dedicated enough to physical exercises on a simulator. With the support of the team coach, the experienced pilot Tom Dilmann, Sette Câmara has being making efforts to acquire knowledge and, above all, be ready for the challenges.

Last week, on the outskirts of Barcelona, where he lives since last year, the pilot had the opportunity to participate in two days of practice with the kart with a gear which, he said, were essential to the maintenance of the reflexes and, above all, to keep the adrenaline at a high level.

The track  in the city of Spielberg is maintained by giant of the energy drinks-Red Bull. The track has a very fast circuit with little more than 4,300 meters in length. In all,  the lap has eight curves and four big straights where cars must attain a maximum speed of about 230 km/h. During  the lap, 20 gear changes are made, the hourly average is 180 km/h and the pilots  spend 79% of the lap under full acceleration.

“I am very excited for the rest of this season. Differently from the beginning of the year, when everything was new to me, I have been on every track missing to the closing of the year and, therefore, the times naturally become much better. Without having to learn the layout of the track, I already enter on the track working the tuning of the car and, as a result, the team wins much in agility in search of a perfect set. I am very motivated and I believe we will have the possibility to get one more weekend of expressive results”, commented the 17-year old pilot.
