Supported by Federal and State Sports Incentive Laws, the driver will be the only Brazilian in the F2 World Championship

At the Paul Ricard racetrack in the south of France, the 19-year-old Brazilian driver, Sérgio Sette Câmara (YOUSE | BMG | CCR | GASMIG), was given the green light to begin his participation in the F2 World Championship 2018. Next Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday the young man from Belo Horizonte is going to participate in the first official activities of the pre-season.
For almost 50 years, there was always a Brazilian driver in F1, the main category of the world motorsport, and 2018 will be the first time since 1970 when the green and yellow nation will have no driver there. If in F1 the population will not have anyone to cheer for, in the F2, main F1 feeder category, Sette Câmara begins his second season in the Championship. In the traditional English team Carlin / McLaren Junior he will have real chances to fight for victories and even for the title of the season.
However, in order for the driver to follow his path in the search for the maximum level of the sports world, the financial contribution through sponsorships has always been fundamental in his career. With the projects approved by the Federal Sports Incentive Law and the Minas Gerais State program, the driver was able to raise the necessary budget for the 2018 World Championship.
Through the destination of the Income Tax or ICMS (a Brazilian tax similar to VAT), some companies are really taking into account the visibility potential through Brazilian sport and designating their funds to take Brazil back to F1. Thus, on Tuesday, Sérgio presented the official layout of his car for 2018 stamping the colors of YOUSE, BMG, CCR, CEMIG and GASMIG.
“On behalf of all athletes in Brazil and Minas Gerais, I would like to thank our leaders for the possibility of competing at a high level, anywhere in the world, counting on the designation of the funds collected from companies’ taxes. I am very happy to have the support of solid companies that can, above all, allow me to be focused only on my role of speeding up to search for maximum performance inside the tracks, “commented Sette Câmara.
Leandro Claro, CMO of Youse, the main sponsor of the Brazilian driver, is optimistic about the possibilities offered by the driver and the 2018 F2 season. “Youse believes in Sergio’s boldness, just like the brand, he is not afraid to break barriers and reach new heights. We believe this will be a year of many achievements and Youse will be together with Sergio giving him the necessary safety to achieve his goals, “says Leandro
