Monza Racetrack , in Italy, will host the fourth round of the season.

After passing through England, Germany and France, the European F3 Championship arrives this weekend in the Monza Racetrack, in Italy, where the races of the 10th, 11th and 12th rounds of the annual competition will take place. The 36 competitors participating in the Championship, as well as their teams, have moved towards the city in the North of the country, close to Milan.

Experiencing a season of much learning the Brazilian pilot, Sergio Sette Câmara (Banco Mercantil do Brasil/ Lalubema / Motopark Academy) will have, this weekend, a chance to take the extreme kind what he likes the most – to speed up. The Italian, traditional in international motorsport, is an icon of speed. With nearly six thousand meters in length it gathers for the F3 cars more than 80% of the time with full acceleration. At every turn, the pilot changes gear 28 times, reaches a maximum speed of approximately 250 km/h and has an hourly average of 198 km/h.

Excited by the result obtained on the streets of Pau, when he had his best result of the year when he  took the checkered flag in the 11th position, Sette Câmara knows that he will have a weekend of a lot of work. On a track of characteristics of high speeds and aerodynamic load used in the car must be very small and as a result,   circumvent the fast curves becomes the most difficult task and, any mistake could cost the pilot to be pushed out of the track, and even having an accident.

“For anyone who loves speed, drive at Monza is to feel like part of the history of motoring. The track is very fast, challenging, but, above all, technique. We need to work here with little wing, in order not to lose speed on the straight sectors. But, on the other hand, this arrangement leaves the car very unstable on fast speed curves and, with it, any sliding, means leaving the track and, almost always, beating. Despite never having been in this circuit, he did several sessions on the simulator of our team and, I am sure, I can achieve my first points of the season”, commented the representative of Banco Mercantil do Brasil.

The program will begin on Friday, with two free practice sessions and the taking of times. The first two races will be held on Saturday and on Sunday the third and final race.
