After a victory in the German Kart, the pilot resumes his calendar in the disputes of Formula-3

This weekend, between September five and seven, the powerful engines of F3 Brazil will growl  loudly in Rio Grande do Sul. On the Velopark racetrack in Nova Santa Rita, in the metropolitan region of Rio Grande do Sul, it will be held the sixth round of the competition, the races being valid for the 11th and 12th stages of the year.

After having entered the Championship only in the fourth round, the Brazilian pilot,  Sergio Sette (Banco Mercantil do Brasil | CEMIG | TAESA | MBR | Tear Têxtil | Lalubema | Patrus Transportes | Milplan) has presented a very significant growth and, after four races, he  managed to climb the podium in two of them and follows as one of the highlights of the season.

Taking turns among important kart competitions in Europe, where he currently lives, and the F3 Brazil, Sette Câmara has been every efforts to keep the focus on his preparation without leaving aside the academic life. Attending  the equivalent to Junior High School in Brazil, the 16-year old pilot is one of the top students in his class

Despite never having competed in the Velopark, Sette Câmara doesn’t believe he will have great difficulty on this track. Along with the other pilots of the Cesário F3 team he has already participated in some tests on that track and, in addition, he will receive the important guidelines from Danilo Dirani, his coach and former team BAR test pilots of F-1. In addition, the pilots will have an extra 30-minutes  training, which will be held in the early afternoon on Friday

“I am experiencing a year of many changes. First,  there was the change of address, to Barcelona, next the change of the karting team, then the start of F3 races. Although we follow a very well-planned schedule for my career, things are happening in my life at the same speed at which I drive my F3 at the end of a line. I am dedicating myself to the fullest and, with the help of all the people that surround me, I am being able to  overcome through all this with tranquillity and, above all, showing really expressive results. In practice sessions we made on this track of Velopark I managed to do well. The track is not very long, it has two main straights lines, some quite annoying “S’s”, but my times were satisfactory. I arrive excited for this round and I will do my best to get back on the podium”, commented the pilot.
